I've been investing in small multi-units investment properties since 2003. I've done some flips but mostly buy and hold. My brother and I recently transitioned to the multifamily RE market. We currently own 4 duplexes in Cleveland and 2 multifamily buildings in Norfolk, VA with a total of 14 units. Our goal is to scale our portfolio over different markets by building relationships, partnering and learning from others. My personal goal is to transition away from my 9 to 5 and focusing full time on growing our investments. "Mind over matter" is one of the mantras that I use to achieve my goals.
