I have been a general contractor in Maine for 10 years, doing about 50/50 residential and commercial. I studied Financial Economics at the University of Maine in Orono, and I am looking to exit the contracting side of things and purchase rental properties using my combined knowledge of financial and construction experience. Currently Have 2 properties in the Bangor area under construction, and 2 lots in greater Portland to build on. Looking to pickup several more multifamily's this year - and single family only if they are 20-30k or less, as I make my money doing the work myself, then doing a cash-out refi. I am looking to purchase with cash, then refi after making improvements. I am open to properties in all major markets in Maine, residential and commercial.
