My wife and I started our RE investing journey in 2021 with the purchase of our first SF investment home in Indiana. We are now ready for our first 1031 exchange and purchase a property in South Florida. Depending on the deal, we might consider short / mid- term rental. We are interested in cash flowing, nice ROI generating single family homes and small multiplexes, perhaps even condo's and apartments, as long as the HOA does not eat up the cashflow.
