Took too long to get started. Had the desire for almost a decade, but lack of knowledge caused fear of risk. 3 years ago started connecting with people who were doing it, and found a few podcasts and youtubers like Bigger Pockets to educate myself. Made some good connections through a friend in Gulfport, MS, which is a great area for the 1% rule. Started with my first property in April 2021, and I've been off to the races since. Closing on properties 4 and 5 in January 2022, then 6 and 7 in March of 2022. Looking to fix and flip 5 properties at the start of 2023, but will keep a property if it makes more sense. Always open to partnering with private investors to make cash offers. End of year goal is to own between 10 to 15 additional homes for LTR or Midterm rentals In the Gulfport/Biloxi area I have several boots on the ground from top notch realtor, contractors, maintenance, and property managers to help me be successful. I am looking to start in either Memphis or Birmingham (or both) this year, and expand my portfolio.
