I have been working on attaining my PhD from Michigan State University. As much as I love science, I love woodworking and renovating properties in my spare time. Currently working on buying small to medium sized multi-families in the Lansing, MI area that are value add properties. Always happy to talk RE with anyone!!! Experience: We started real estate investing without even knowing it. We rented out the spare room in our condo to a friend on the weekdays and on AirBnB on the weekends. We payed at least half the rent with alternative sources of income. We purchased a house a year later and did essentially the same thing (sans AirBnB). I started investing with a 5-unit building and have gone through the long process of fixing the place up and raising rents in a trendy neighborhood on the eastside of Lansing. I now own 11-unit all of which were bought at under market rents and will be refinanced when the renovations are complete. Additionally, I have flipped a few homes in the area and I have a background in rehabbing. Real Estate Goals: Looking for real estate opportunities (rentals) in the greater Lansing area. Looking to start out away from the college rental market to develop a portfolio. I have a passion for the hunt of real estate and am looking to grow my now 11 unit portfolio to double in the next year. Currently Seeking: Currently looking for property leads and potential investors/partners on properties. Seeking commercial multi-family leads in the greater Lansing area.
