I'm just starting out investing. Until a few weeks ago I was managing an apartment building owned by my dad. The building was just sold and now I want to start out on my own. I'm interested in small to medium multi-family homes slowly building my portfolio. I'm looking forward to have a flexible schedule and time to be with my kids while I can earn money and investment for the future. I have 2 kids one going off to college next year and one the following year YIKES!! So you see why I need this to work fast. Also in 2 years this house will be empty and I'll need to fill my time with SOMETHING! My wife works in NYC so she is out all day. Lucky her. We live 30 miles north of the city which is great since we have the calm of suburbia but convenient access to the culture of the Big Apple.
