I am interested in real estate investing for retirement (appreciation) and extra cash flow. I bought a primary home on my own about 15 years ago. In 2019 I got married, my husband moved into my home, he sold his house. Around 2020 we began looking for a ranch style property that was closer to his work. We are interested in the tax benefits and early retirement. We purchased a home in 2021 that wasn't on the market while interest rates were under 3%. We put in some sweat equity by demoing two bedrooms and adding a Master ensuite. We finally moved 2022 and now have been discussing what to do with our other property while making updates to that property... That's what prompted me to get back on the BP forum. I'm new to investment properties but understand the process of homebuying and would like to expand on my family's options for our future.
