The forms didn't give me an option to properly designate how I'm involved in the Real Estate Industry. I am the Chief Marketing Officer for a nationwide Real Estate Brokerage. I work with our brokers to help establish solid marketing while growing the company. In doing so, I've been able to associate and become friends with the president of the real estate investing group in our area and that friendship has opened the door to the future in real estate investing that I've been invisioning for years. I have owned one rental property in the past, but that was a horrible experience that I've since learned had a lot to do with what I didn't know. I chalk it up to a learning experience now. Together with my wife, Julie, we're diving into the investor world again.
