I live in sunny Southwest Florida with my wife, two boys, and little girl. In 2015 I began to avidly research and read about real estate investing. That brought me to biggerpockets, which has been my greatest resource. I've been in ministry for 15 years, have traveled the United States and some foreign countries speaking, and have pastored a church. While ministry is still our passion, right now we are actively building our real estate business on a full time basis. Our goal is to attain financial freedom for ourselves and to help teach others to become financially free as well. Experience: Started studying, researching, and reading as much as I could about real estate investing in July of 2015. Bought and renovated our first duplex as a "House Hack" that December. Formed an LLC the beginning of 2016 and bought, rehabbed, rented, and refinanced another duplex (BRRRR Strategy). I've continued to be involved with rentals and flips. I've partnered with a good friend, who I initially connected with here on biggerpockets, and started property management company (Bartomeo Property Management). We provide management for single family homes to apartment buildings. I'm also wholesaling deals from leads I come across with other investors I'm connected with. Real Estate Goals: Our ultimate goal is to develop a portfolio of buy and hold rental investment properties bringing in enough passive income for financial freedom. Along the way I would like to flip homes for capital to fund our acquisition of rentals. The WHY - To enjoy life with my wife and 3 kids, to never have to depend on an employer or government for financial security, to have our time freed and be empowered to pursue our passion for ministry, and to help and empower other good people that are struggling into financial success. Currently Seeking: Multi-family properties to buy, rehab, rent, refinance, and hold, SFHs to flip or rent. Networking with lenders and investors, wholesalers, real estate agents, and contractors.
