Benjamin Reemsnyder

Ben was born and raised in Canton, Ohio by a strong, independent, hardworking single mother that often held down multiple jobs to help raise her two boys. She taught Ben that with hard work and dedication, anything is possible. As a child, he had many different career aspirations, but never in a million years did he think he would end up owning his own painting and home improvement service company. It just goes to show that you can’t always predict where or when you’ll discover what you’re meant to do in life. As the years went by working various jobs in his 20s, he decided to go to college full time to get his Associate Degree of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering Technology, while still maintaining his full time job and a nearly perfect GPA. Once graduated, he quickly advanced from an entry level position into a senior level management position, never wavering in his resolve to become the best version of himself with each advancement, but he always felt as if something was missing and this was not his true purpose in life. He decided to explore a completely different career path and decided to get his real estate license, but was greatly disappointed after spending a lot of money to find clients with little luck or return on the money he invested. This was a huge learning lesson and he realized this was not his calling for long term growth and happiness. He still holds his real estate license, but also works full time as a multi-craft maintenance technician for a manufacturing plant taking care of everything from building maintenance to the manufacturing equipment, but still finds this is not enough; there must be other opportunities that he can pursue to live the best life possible while helping the community as well. He finally realized he really needed to focus on his passions. He was always a handy person around the house, fixing things and doing home improvement projects for family and himself. That is when he realized, he should be doing work in the home improvement industry. He decided to start Regal Touch Painting in 2020 and realized he could use his skill sets from all of his previous career experience as well as all the home improvement skills he had learned over his entire life to start a business that he had passion for, could provide safe, clean, professional painting and handyman services to clients, and provide safe, meaningful, and fun employment to people of the community. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors, swimming, remodeling, baking, cooking, 30s/40s/50s vintage decor, and spending time with friends and family. He currently resides in the Central Clintonville neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio with his Bichon Frise, Snow. She is the light of his life and will always be his #1 fur baby.
