In 2014, I began my real estate career by investing in town homes in a northwest suburb of Atlanta. Over the years, I've grown as a buy and hold investor, as well as a landlord, by constantly refining my investing criteria and property management systems. While I diversify into other investment modes, single family homes will remain my bread and butter. In 2019, I also began investing as a limited partner in real estate syndications. To date, I have invested in a hotel development syndication, and multifamily value-ad deals. Over the next two years I plan to further expand my syndication portfolio by geographically diversifying my multifamily value-ad investments. Currently, I am interested in learning from those with housing choice voucher experience. Specifically, I need to learn how to determine the fair market rents prior to purchasing a home. I, also, need to grow in my understanding of the housing quality standards and annual inspection criteria.
