Currently residing in Zambia, I live and work internationally as an international development consultant focusing on inclusive private sector growth. While I love living internationally, eventually I will return to the US, and by then, hope to have built a portfolio of cash-flowing properties. Experience: I'm personally a newbie real estate investor, but come from a family who focused on SFRs and multi-families in university towns. Real Estate Goals: Generally, I am looking to diversity my retirement investment portfolio beyond the standard stock market-based vehicles. Eventually, I'd like to partially substitute my income with cashflow from rental properties. In keeping with my profession, I am interested in the expansion of decent, affordable housing as I believe that economic win-wins are possible, and should be promoted to create a healthier society in which people are able to live healthier, more meaningful and more generous lives. Currently Seeking: I am currently seeking opportunities to invest in multi-family units or small (5-25ish unit) apartment complexes. I enjoy collaboration with other professionals, and would love to find the right state-side partner to structure mutually beneficial deals.
