Experience: My first project was a student rental. We ended up splitting that lot and building another house to rent. After that, we bought a short-sale house and fully rehabbed it, adding a bathroom and replacing the roof, kitchen, windows, and more. We bought two more homes in the campus area and added additions for more rental space. In 2013, we moved to Columbus, OH, and started buying rentals and flips. As we grew, we added staff to manage our portfolio. Once we had an amazing team in place, we decided to offer our service to other investors, and we are currently managing 400+ units.
