Five years ago I began working with a partner doing part time wholesaling while holding down a day job. We stumbled across a small multifamily deal. We secured owner financing and raised the rest of the equity need to close the deal. We rehabbed it, leased it up, managed it then did it again and again. We are now starting to take equity out of our portfolio through refi's and sales. We will still invest together but we don't want to run a company together anymore.
