“Dream of your home, and make your home your dream.” ~ Caleb Marlow I think I was born with real estate in my genes and a welcoming nature. Ever since I was a little kid, I have been connected to homes. I remember not even being tall enough to ring a doorbell but how much I loved being welcomed into someone’s house when they would open the door! And I loved hearing the doorbell ring to our home! Oh, how I would jump off my chair and run in my little Jordan sneakers to the door with the biggest grin on my face. Looking through the hazy glass of the front door I would open it wide for our visitors and welcome them! But, it wasn’t until I enlisted in the United States Navy and travelled around the world serving my country did I realize how much I missed the feeling of home and how important the purchase of a house is to people. I remember wanting to join the Navy to do something great for myself but what I learned was it wasn’t about me it was about doing good things for other people. I started thinking how people spend a lot of time in their homes. I began thinking about families eating at the kitchen table and summer BBQ’s in the backyard and the evening porch light glowing in the night and that’s when I realized that real estate was a way for me to make people happy. My Navy experience has given me a lot of client know-how. I bring to the table great client service and a great ability of customer care and patience to the table as well. Explaining every level of the real estate transaction so the client is always well informed, I have an attention to detail that won’t quit and something else! My hobby is real estate and real estate is my profession. I sincerely love what I do and my passion for finding just the right home for my clients fills me with a joy I cannot describe. What’s more I met my wife while she was serving in the Navy and she shares my love for real estate. We live in Austin with our little daughter Ember Lea who we take with us to look at open houses! I hope to help her find her first home in another thirty years! In closing, I am a people person. I like learning about my clients and what is important to them in a home. I want clients to know that not only can I sell their home but I can find that perfect investment property not only for themselves but to hold for their children’s education and their retirement.
