As of 2016, I now have began project number one. My fiancee and I have purchased a HUD foreclosure, intend on living there 2 years and renovating, sell the property and then do it again. I am not limiting myself as to what I am interested in, but real estate investing has always caught my interests. I first learned that groups like BP exist when I joined a local REI community chapter that meets up monthly. At first I was skeptical that a group of competitors would meet together, let alone share information freely. To which they said, we learn more this way than we lose. So here I am, in my early stages of learning, hoping to develop my personal skills and knowledge, and someday return the favor to the next wave of people such as myself. Experience: Well after my first investment, Ive learned a lot in the buying stage. This HUD foreclosure did not come easy, as four months into the deal with bank #1 it ended in a stalemate over a minor plumbing repair. So we dropped corporate over marketed bank that couldnt get the job done, and opted for someone else and rebid the house. The deal finally went through, and now the work begins! Real Estate Goals: I am here to learn.
