Carl Gorson

Hi! My name is Carl. I am a 54 year old man, and a long time ago my mom called me a late bloomer...and she was right. So I am getting into the real estate game later in life than I hoped, but my decision has been made and I am here to stay. I have run my own business before, a fencing business, (vinyl,wood etc.) when the economy crashed, so did I. I was never more happy than when I was running my own show, and I know that was where I needed to be for the rest of my life...running my own show. It was also my biggest disappointment when I had to give it all up, depressions followed and all the other typical things when losing one of the most important things in your life. Lessons learned, I was not managing correctly and had all my business wrapped in residential (a luxury) and not enough diversity into commercial (a necessity), but real estate is where I always wanted to be. Since I was 17 years old, this was my dream. I had neither the self discipline, maturity nor the cohones to follow through. I don't believe everything happens for a reason and I feel as though it was a wasted opportunity and I will not make that mistake again. For reasons of necessity and I guess time of life I have "MADE THE DECISION". This IS happening and WILL happen. I would appreciate any and all help I can get. I can not believe what valuable information I have already found in BIGGER POCKETS and look forward to working with as many like minded people as possible and learning as much as I possibly can.
