My husband and I have lived in Topeka, KS "forever." My husband owns his own architectural firm here and my prior career was in non-profit management. Experience: Experience has come by buying the first property because we wanted control of the land that the house sat on. We quickly had to learn about evicting and cleaning up the damages. We now own a nice-sized portfolio of single-family homes and one four-plex - and I'm always ready for a new project!
