Hello fellow investors! I am new to investing though hope to learn and connect with as many other like minded investors as possible, as well as offer my strengths in other areas where I do have some experience. A bit about me: My strengths lie on the project management side of investing including overall building, construction, and remodel knowledge with in depth experience on the processes, products, and procedures that make most projects happen. Willing to help fellow investors in any way I can through Advice, another brain to bounce ideas off, or otherwise. Being in and around construction my whole life, I have experience in most aspects of the overall building industry. Started out growing up under a master craftsman and builder as a father, as an apprentice from a young age. Then to inside contractor sales at a big box store where I had over $1m in sales a year, including bringing that store to the top of the district in some key performing metrics. Left there to start my own business as a General Contractor for a year where I personally did both residential and commercial remodels. From 50,000 sq. ft. warehouse conversions to high end finish work on million dollar new construction, retail store fronts to flips for other investors. Now Currently I work as a superintendent for a local builder and we do exclusively residential new construction in Whatcom, Skagit, and Island County including the San Juan's with a rate of around 20-30 new homes per year. Now that the highlight reel is done, It has definitely all not come without its many challenges, humps in the road, and countless lessons learned with i'm sure many more to come. Though that's all part of the fun, but I am ready to learn! And to be real I'm glad I found real estate when I did, because at the end of the day I want to give an awesome life to those I love. As to actual investing experience however, I am a complete newbie; but I am looking to learn and network as much as I can. Likewise any advice or communication is greatly appreciated and what I lack in investing experience I plan to make up with drive and determination on the road to financial freedom!
