As a business owner, entrepreneur and savvy real estate investor, I was blessed to learned from some of the best in the business. I grew up in a family where we developed mini storages and it was from that point on that I began pursuing cash flow freedom. Right out of college a friend and I developed 7 quick serve restaurants before selling those and starting a development company in Northern California. If I could say one thing that I'm pretty proud of was that due to learning from investors (who were way smarter than me), I was able to exit the CA real estate market in 2005 (which at the time was about 16 properties including selling my personal residence at the top of the market.) In identifying the market change, I had to work for free for a year to get all my investors money back to him but I did it. Him and I were both able to walk away whole from that disaster and when the market hit bottom, he was the first investor to trust me and invest again. Again, I saw investor after investor get decimated in the crash. I can't tell a newbie enough how important a site like this is in getting your questions answered and learning from people who work deals every day. In my life, it was the difference between success and bankruptcy. I am eternally grateful for those who assisted me in my beginning years and my desire is to help anyone I can in the same manner.
