I am a computer programmer from the greater Pittsburgh Area and father to 3 (and growing). My wife and I realized early on that Real Estate would be a more solid retirement plan than regular investing and social security. We accidentally house hacked our first house and moved on from there. After almost 3 years of learning everything I could about real estate we are finally taking action and are actively seeking out deals. Money is our biggest obstacle in all of this, as it tends to be for most first timers, so we have been focusing on seller finance style deals and have managed to find some in our area.
