My wife and I are just getting started as real estate investors. We are going to be house hacking our first property by renting out spare rooms, the rv pad, and the shed that came with the property. We are most interested in investing in self storage facilities and small multifamily properties. I've been working in the self storage industry for over 4 years now and we can't wait to get in the game ourselves. I currently work for Neighbor.com which is a peer to peer marketplace for storage also known as the "Airbnb of Storage". I'm their General Manager for the state of Utah, California, and Texas helping manage growth. They connect hosts, who own underutilized space, to renters in need of storage.
