Been real estate investor since May of 2019. Purchased 11 properties -- SFHs townhomes and condos in Jacksonville and Ponte Vedra. Including two STRs. i am an actuary for major global financial organization and have worked for 35+ years as a credentialed property & casualty actuary. I am newbie to the world of real estate but i am enjoying the 360 degree aspect of RE investing -- working with contrators, refinancing, looking for new properties. But in the end RE is mostly about analysis of financial investments which shares a lot with the skillset developed as an actuary.
