Danielle Zimmerman

I wear a lot of hats, but my favorite one, in business, is fixing up historic properties. I'm talking the worst of the worst! I love it. The older, the better. I love the history and romance behind old architecture. Call it my guilty pleasure. Aside from these passion projects, I own Fort + Hom, LLC. a one stop shop for real estate investing (flipping, buy and holds), realty services (buying and selling Colorado real estate), construction company and a home decor company that also does design. Before I became a Realtor and Developer, my interests were in science earning a degree in Environmental Science and Technology at Colorado Mesa University. In between classes I used my love for science to simultaneously work at a winery and as a Brewer for a craft beer company on the western slope of Colorado. I had some trouble trying to grow the beard, so after college I made my last career move into real estate. In college I became involved with real estate by doing some house hacking, buying fixer uppers, renovating them and renting them out to other students. Fast forward ten years and my husband, Jeff Zimmerman, and I are still buying, renovating, renting and selling our own investments in Colorado and in Montana. After college I moved to Houston, Texas where I obtained my real estate license and focused on commercial real estate. Now back in Colorado, I’m the broker and owner of my own real estate firm, Fort + Hom, LLC. My scope of services includes Residential Real Estate here in my own backyard, Colorado. Buying and selling real estate for my own portfolio gives me a unique understanding of the entire process and qualifies me to handle any type of transaction. I’m an active member in Denver Metro Association of Realtors (DMAR), National Association of Realtors (NAR), Colorado Association of Realtors (CAR), REColorado MLS (Denver), IRES MLS (Northern Colorado), Pikes Peak MLS (Colorado Springs and Southern Colorado), and Historic Denver, Butte CPR.
