Wife and I are REIs. We have flipped 13 homes along the Wasatch Front in northern Utah since 11/2017. We have partnered with my brother and his wife on 12 of those, and my wife's parents on the other one. We built a new home ($300k, 2k sq ft, 5bed 3 bath) and moved in 9/2019, then finished the basement as an ADU over the next few months (now total 3.5k sq ft, 8 bed 5 bath, 2 laundry, 2 kitchens). Basement rent nearly covers our mortgage. We're looking for more properties to rent, hoping to find a good BRRR soon. Market is crazy. Interested in surrounding states as well, if you have any deals you can't take in Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, please hit me up--if the deal works out, we'll pay a finders fee. We are looking primarily for SFH-4plex rentals. I'm naturally pretty introverted, but am looking forward to not having to keep my day job so I'm trying to network more :) Other than REI, my hobbies include mountain biking (avid), tinkering with technology (building/repairing PCs, laptops, android phones), and playing some video games. I love yardwork and DYI projects even though I'm not a very handy guy. We have some connections for different subs in Utah and SL Counties.
