Experience: Reading books, listening to podcasts, attending meetups. I'm looking for my first deal, trying to find multi-family in Omaha and trying to avoid single family. Real Estate Goals: I want to transition to full time REI in 5-7 years. I am most interested in small multi-family initially with a smart and slow transition into larger multi-family in a 3-5 years using the BRRR strategy, transitioning into lending in 7-10 years while continuing to draw cash flow on my larger multis. Currently Seeking: Networking, networking, networking. I love hearing about other's successes and what other people are doing. Looking for anyone who can bring multi-family to bear. I'm ready to move on a property NOW. A bit about me: I am 9 years married to my wonderful wife with two small (3&1 year old) girls whom I love more than I ever thought possible. I'm originally from Texas but live in Omaha, NE to be near my wife's family. I'm a HUGE Texas Longhorns fan. I served 6 years in the USAF and did 4 combat-support deployments (VA home loans etc are available to me). I am very excited to get started and to work towards and attain financial freedom.
