Currently active duty Navy. I purchased my first home with a VA loan at my first duty station and second home with an FHA at my follow on station. Since then, I've purchased two more investment properties. I've learned since making those first purchases how to value properties better. They both are fairly neutral cash flow, so I'm stuck with simply gaining free loan paydown, so I'm refocusing on gaining cash flow with future purchases.
