David Westwood

I'm originally from Chicago, near the Old Irving Park neighborhood. I started a construction company in 1990 called Chicago Brickworx that mainly focused on masonry, however, after a few years I began reinvesting my profits into SFR and multi-family rentals. My crews would fix up the buildings, keeping them busy while also increasing our properties' values. I closed down the construction side in 2014, and liquidated the company in 2020 due to the hot market, now focusing on personal investments. At our peak we owned and self-managed 341 units comprised of 73 single-family homes and 11 multifamily buildings. Besides investing, I enjoy traveling (favorite location is New Zealand so far), spending time with my wife and three children, and skydiving!
