My name is Derek. I like the tangible and secure investing that real estate provides. From birth to adulthood we are conditions to think and act a certain way. Get a education, get a job, and mindlessly save in a IRA or 401k to retire one day with hopefully enough money to live comfortably. My life span of active investing in the stock market has seen nothing but turmoil and chaos. I have no idea what Microsoft, Apple, or Coke stocks will be worth in 20 years but I do know people will always need a place to live. I came to bigger pockets to consume knowledge and learn about peoples successes as well as their failures.
