I'm a 41 year old single dad, Louisville-area native. I've been in the hospitality/food business since I was 13 years old, and I am ready to retire from the industry. "Rich Dad Poor Dad" grabbed my attention this year, and my life was transformed! I gobbled up every Rich Dad and Rich Dad Advisor book I could find. Played CASHFLOW dozens of times in person, online, and with my kids. Somehow or other, I stumbled up The Apartment Building Investing Podcast with Michael Blank and my focus increased. Multifamily is the way for me! In several of his interviews, I kept hearing his guests say to look them up on BiggerPockets. Sounded like a great place to meet people and learn, so I pulled the trigger and signed up. And let me tell you, the community response to me introducing myself has been...well it's refreshing and a bit overwhelming. I immediately had four people pop up and welcome me, offer some getting-started-on-BP advice, and just generally make me feel like a part of the group. I look forward to getting to know you, and hopefully we can figure out create ways to help each other and work together.
