I'm love-struck husband of a wife I adore, a homeschooling dad, and a traveler. Those sum up my personal life pretty neatly. It's the work stuff that I still find confusing. I am still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up for work, and I'm already well into my 40s. I've been a soldier, a journalist, a scuba diving instructor, a magazine publisher, and a marketing consultant to Microsoft and Group Health in the Seattle area, and Cisco Systems and VeriSign in the Bay Area. I've also been a modestly successful entrepreneur, having sold two businesses for fair considerations. Nothing to write home about, but enough to sock away for down payments for future real estate investments. I'm here because I am committed to taking all the skills, experiences, and income I have amassed and parlaying them into a profitable RE investing career that would allow me to continue to adore my wife, homsechool my kids, and travel with both.
