As of 2022 - complete real estate investment newbie, hungry for help. I am tired of just watching money sit in stocks only. This might be either backward or not the most lucrative but looking to get a foothold in the New England region by way of a STR first and perhaps a piece of land. Follow that up with some LTRs such as duplexes. I'm concerned too many properties are too inflated right now to make it worth diving in.
