When I first started investing in Arizona more than 15 years ago, I managed my own properties by advertising, screening tenants, signing the lease, collecting rent, taking maintenance calls at all hours and coordinating with vendors, and gathering data for evictions, all the while following the Landlord Tenant Laws. So after passionately having done it for myself and some others friends that relied on my experience, and becoming overworked, I hired a property management company. The concept was great, but the property management company was not. I think everyone should use a property manager, however, only if you can find the right one. After long searches to find a good company, I ended up getting training and becoming one myself (a Professional Property Manager). In joining this community, I would like to share my experience as Landlord-Real Estate Investor and Property Manager as well as learn and nourish myself from those that have similar interests.
