Gilberto Grajeda

Hey guys, Im just an average Joe with a desire to learn from the mistakes of others and make real estate my form of investment and success Im born and raised in Vallejo, CA. I travel a lot to Sacramento since I have a lot of family there. What brought me to BiggerPockets is my past. My dad invest in real estate since I was a kid. He would purchase land and build a house from scratch and sell for a good amount, only until the economy went down in 2006-08. He lost 2 houses in which he funded with the majority of his own money and filed bankrupt. It was quite a stressful time for the family and my dad has never been able to bounce back since. I help them out where I can and I work on average 50-80 hours a week in construction. I want to change all that and have a simpler life by buying and holding property.
