I began investing in real estate when I bought my first home with my wife, and we rented out one of the bedrooms that had its own entrance and bath. We still have that property today. I’ve been involved in more than 30 deals since then, and found the ones that I involve others the most fun and rewarding, so I’m always interested in ways to partner with other people. Some have partnered with me as an owner in a deal I've put together, some have served as a private lender to make a deal happen until I could get the property rehabbed and bank financing in place, and some have given me the opportunity to help them manage their properties to help them achieve their investing goals. We've since started our own property maintenance team, and I'm enjoying working now with the folks that are helping me "spread the joy" of real estate investing. After years of working my butt off working multiple jobs and building our real estate porfolio as aggressively as I could, it looks like potentially transitioning to working on our real estate business full-time could be on the horizon. At least, I have a plan in place to do so. I live on the west shore with my wife, three children, parents and grandmother, in the same home I grew up in. Rock-climbing, skiing, and hiking are some of my favorite things to do.
