Grant Montgomery

My amazing wife and I have been married almost ten years; together we have 3 awesome boys, 6, 3 and 6 months. I have served in the US Army for 21 years to date and have chosen to continue service even though I’m eligible for retirement. I started out as a Private in 1996 and worked my up through the ranks, later becoming an officer. Today I am a Captain. I serve in the Army Aviation branch and am a qualified pilot in the CH47 Chinook helicopter. In 2015 I found Bigger Pockets and spent a little time on the site, more of a skeptic than anything else. In 2017 I overcame my skepticism, upgraded to a PRO membership, and now look forward to beginning my next career in REI while I continue service in the Army.
