Hello everyone! My wife, Abigail, and I are glad to become a part of this community. As for a little background on us. I have been in the IT field for over 5 years as an IT Functional Analyst and Statistical Analyst. My wife is currently self-employed, but is training to become a real-estate agent so we can achieve greater insight into the market. Together, we have spent a fair amount of time discussing what we want out of life. Blogs such as 123.flip.com and books like "Rich Dad Poor Dad" and "The Book on Flipping Houses" has helped us come to the realization that we want to achieve financial freedom, financial security, and regain control over our time. While we're both very hard working, we're tired of the same ol' 9-5 job(often 8-8 in my profession) where we never get to see each other and are part of the daily grind. While we don't have much experience in real estate, we're hoping study, practice, and knowledgeable communities like this one will help us to successfully invest in real estate.
