Hunter Sandlin

I'm an adjunct instructor of religion at a junior college in Marion, AL. I have a B.A. from Auburn University in Philosophy-Religion and an M.Div. from Beeson Divinity School, Samford University. Currently, I'm pursuing a sales license to help as I more actively engage in real estate investing. Experience: I grew up with my parents actively investing in real estate, through land purchases, building, and selling. I myself have done two deals in the past couple of years. One was buying my own house with "built in equity" of over 30%. The second was successfully using AirBnB to bring in close to 10,000 dollars within the span of 6 months. UPDATE I have taken possession of a 5000sq ft commercial property in Bessemer bought at tax sale, and have two deals going on in Montgomery, one being a sfr and the other a 40-unit apt complex. Real Estate Goals: I want to have enough income to pursue writing, teaching, and a phd without worrying about finances. I plan to do this with a mix of buy and holds and tax certificates. Multi-families and commercial are most appealing. Currently Seeking: I'm trying to build a network of people to help with investing advice, finding an attorney, cpa, and appropriate lenders.
