I live in San Diego, CA with my two boys. I am using real estate as a strategy to gain financial freedom. I am an active Realtor in San Diego. I am currently focusing on buy and hold for multi-unit properties in the mid-west. Duplex - 4-Plex, or larger. I have had rentals in San Diego and Las Vegas in the past, but now focus on investing in the Mid-west. I Currently have 17 doors in Northeast Ohio & Kansas City. Experience: I have been a landlord for over 15 years. It started with a condo that I originally lived in. It had some great appreciation and I sold it. I then used the money as a down payment on my current primary residence. I also had a 4-plex that I picked up in Las Vegas in 2005. That did not go so well and lost it in 2008. I have held a few notes on investment properties and in 2016 I started to educate myself again and jumped back in. I picked up a Duplex in North Canton, OH that gives me an 18% ROI each year. I was able to add 17 doors in 2 years fro 2017-2018. 2019 & 2020 has been spent adding value to that original 17 doors. In 2021, I intend to get back to adding more to my portfolio. I have over $3,000 a month in passive income from the 17 doors that I own. Real Estate Goals: Add 2-4 doors a year by investing in Class B neighborhoods. Looking at Ohio, Kansas City, and Memphis.
