I am brand new to real estate in general and real estate investing. I am 30 years old, and just a few months ago thought 'real estate investing' was only for the super rich and out of reach. Through advice from a friend (who purchased a duplex to rent out) and research online, I realized how attainable the goal of passive income from real estate can be. I am originally from Chicago, and currently reside in Sacramento, CA. I do plan on relocating within the next year, and have no desire to invest in California. My ideal location is the midwest/great lakes areas.
