I am a full-time teacher ready to retire after this year and become a full-time investor in real estate. My goal is to provide the best quality housing for my tenants. My main question when investing and rehabbing is 'would I want to live there?', and if the answer is no then I ask 'can I make it so that I would want to live there?'. This is truly where my heart is and has been for a few years now. We (my wife and I) have invested in 4-plexes, single-family, and now have an AirBnB single-family. We are looking to venture out into the world of apartment buildings, but there is a lot to learn but we love it. Anyway, look forward to meeting y'all in BP.
