I'm still very young, and just finishing school. While I do find real estate (particularly the passive income of rental properties) very intriguing, my main focus as a career is the IT field. I plan on building a portfolio of rental properties as a retirement plan. Fix-and-flip does not interest me very much, seeing as, at the moment, I have very little money to invest in the 'fixing' part. Like I said, I hope to have my career fund my first couple of rental properties over the next couple years. Just dipping my toes in at the moment, but I am a very ambitious person by nature. I have always seen rental properties as a great investment, and am excited to finally be stable enough to be getting my first house. I look forward to meeting all of you, and everything I can learn (and offer) this site.
