I bought a house in Brooklyn back in 2006 as an investment for my future. The market tanked, my tenants stopped paying. After 5 years battling with the bank I sold it in a short sale in 2013. Blood, sweat, tears, and much stress I vowed NEVER to buy real estate again. I've changed my mind!! Right now I am trying to bring my debt down so that I can save more. I would prefer to work more with cash then mortgages, but I am open to refi after the purchase and rehab (if applicable).
