Jake Johnson

At 16 years old, I had a teacher tell me in front of the whole class that I wouldn't amount to much. In Mrs. Frost's defense, I'd just told her that college was stupid and the essay I had just written explained my argument in detail. I know I was being harsh on college, it just wasn't for me. In short, I didn't like the normal path of school, debt, more school, then maybe a job. So I just started work. At 20 years old I joined the military in order to gain mental toughness, professionalism and leadership confidence. Flash forward, I had served in the Marine Corps as a Rifleman for six years, led a rifle squad of 14 Marines over seas and in over a dozen countries. Throughout the military I started to understand the real estate world. I started a real estate club, where we taught each other classes and shared real estate contacts and market information. Once I was out, I got into the world deeper with house hacking with the VA Home loan, renting to sailers and Marines, and wholesaling residential real estate. I'm always learning and growing my business. I love where I am in life and couldn't ask for a better place to be.
