My name is James Duke, I'm the founder and president of Norwood Development Group, LLC. I have over 36 years of construction experience building some of the most notable public and private construction projects in the United States. I am also hold a General Contractor and Underground Utility Contractors license in the State of Florida. I'm also in the process of obtaining my General Contractors license in the State of Alabama. My experience also includes six years of commercial real estate development experience functioning as an Senior Project Manager on a $400,000,000 mixed use development project in Boca Raton that includes a 96 unit Mandarin Oriental Hotel, 366 unit luxury apartments with ground floor retail, 80 five star condominiums, with a two story subterranean garage. I also served as Owner's Representative on a $16,000,000 new development and expansion of a large church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I hold an Associates Degree in Architecture from Jefferson State Junior College in Birmingham, Alabama, a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management from Everglades University in Boca Raton, Florida, a Masters of Science in Real Estate Development from Nova University, a Certificate from REDI Foundation 6-month Real Estate Development Mentorship Program, and a Certificate in Community Development from a South Florida University sponsored program. I am seeking a financial investor to joint venture with where I can leverage my experience and build great development projects. I will be willing to contribute my developers fee to each deal in exchange for an equity stake in each project pursued. My focus will be on small multifamily infill projects in South Florida and Birmingham, Alabama where I grew up. With over 35 years of industry experience, I am a seasoned construction professional and a certified general contractor. I have successfully managed and delivered a diverse array of projects consisting of healthcare, water treatment plants, luxury hotels, luxury condominiums, luxury apartments, market rate apartment, workforce housing, religious assembly, airport projects, parking lots, and underground utility projects.
