Hello all, I am extremely passionate about real estate! November 2012 I decided to cashed out my 401K from a previous job and purchase 6 duplexes. I had zero experience. At the same time my wife was pregnant with our twin daughters. Huge learning curve! Along with the rentals, I work a fulltime job as a Facilities Manager. A year after buying the duplexes, I started buying 4-plexes and 8 families. Today, it’s like a second fulltime job. I set a 5 year goal to replace my W2 income. I should reach that shortly. Real estate can make an average guy like me wealthy. You don’t need a high IQ, just common sense and a burning desire to succeed. My strategy, buy and hold. Life without rentals would be boring. James
