James Rogers

Hello everyone, My name is James Rogers and I am from Sacramento, California born and raised. Attended school locally and graduated from high school. Held a few odd jobs ranging from a prep cook to cleaning airplanes. Eventually got an opportunity to go work on an oil rig making great pay. Worked in the oil and gas industry from that point on until 2013 when the industry collapsed and I got laid off. During downtimes on the rigs I worked for a family member doing low voltage work. When I got laid off I used this knowledge to go into business for myself, working as a sub contractor for nationwide companies, realizing that I would never truly control my fate unless I worked for myself. It was a bumpy road till now, but things are smoothing out now, and I am ready to start building my assets and moving forward towards the life that I want. Hoping that REI will be that vehicle to take me there.
