I own a roofing and exteriors company with my husband. We house hacked our first home in Los Angeles. Sold that as seed money and moved to Colorado. Have done 10 deals, a combo of fix & flips and buy & holds. REI was put on hold for the last 6 years and now ready to get back into investing.
