Jason Huff

I work as an attorney in Atlanta, GA, and am building a real estate investment portfolio. I am primarily interested in buy and hold strategies. A bit about me: I am married and a father of two wonderful little girls. I'm a former microbiologist from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. After my postdoc, I switched careers and went to law school at the University of North Carolina. I now work in Atlanta as a patent attorney drafting and prosecuting biotechnology and chemical patents for corporate, university, and foreign entity clients, as well as some "garage inventors." I manage domestic and global patent portfolios and also perform patent opinions such as patentability and freedom-to-operate opinions. I also dabble in federal and state trademark registrations on the side for pro bono clients. On the real estate side, I seek to continue building a rental portfolio for retirement planning and additional sources of income. I currently own a few SFH rentals and hold equity in apartment complexes. I am keeping my eyes open for managers, contractors, agents, tax advisers, and other partners who look forward to mutual benefit.
