Jason Young

Hello! I'm Jason Young from Charlotte, North Carolina. My wife and I recently moved to the area following graduate school and are looking to begin investing in small multi-unit properties throughout North and South Carolina. Experience: My real estate experience is very limited at the moment (hence seeking to learn from the Bigger Pockets community). I've invested with my father in single family houses in Tennessee, but am looking to expand my knowledge, experience and portfolio to include multifamily properties. Real Estate Goals: Short Term: Build family portfolio of single family and small multi family unit properties (2-4 units) to at least 50 total units. Through this I hope to learn the nuances of financing and property management as well. Mid-term: Purchase my first small apartment property of at least 20 units. Long-term: Manage a large portfolio of several apartment complexes in the Southeast region and "retire" before 40.
